If some sharp object, like a piece of glass, goes into your eye, do not try to take it out by yourself. Go to the hospital and get help. If something like eyelash goes into your eye, look into the mirror, blink to make tears so that the water washes the eyelash into the corner of your eye, and wipe it with a wet cloth. Don’t forget to wash your hands before touching your eyes.

Do not apply ointment to a wound. Wash the wound with running water and soap, then apply bandage.

Once

Do not rub alcohol or vinegar onto a fevered body. Drink a lot of water and non-alcoholic drinks like tea and keep the room temperature at 61-64° F.

Daily 2x

Do not lift a fainted person by their head. Lift his legs up and unbutton any tight buttons. After he regains consciousness, do not let him stand up and do not give any drink that contains caffeine.

Once

Do not apply butter or sour cream onto the burnt area. Hold your burnt area under running water for 10 mins.

Daily 3x

Once

Do not apply any warmth on a sprain. Apply cold ice onto the sprain and try not to move the sprained area for 48 hours.

Once

Do not make yourself vomit if you consume poison. The best course of action is to go to the hospital as soon as you can.

Once

Do not approach a drowning person from the front. Approach them from behind and grab them by their neck or under their armpit and slowly move to the shore.

Once

Do not pull out a big object from a wound. Rush to the hospital and get removed by surgery under supervision, only when it is safe to remove. Put some alcohol on the wound to disinfect.

Once

Do not put ice directly onto the wound. Put a cloth over the wound and then put ice, only for as long as 20 mins.
