If you are in a jungle, walking by peacefully, enjoying the scenarios, but still you may have the fear of getting caught by a wild animal. That’s a serious concern! Many people get attacked by wild animals and get seriously injured, sometimes lose their life. But with proper knowledge, you can avoid such scenarios and get out in one piece. Now, I will share 13 tips to survive against 13 wild animal attacks. Let’s have a glimpse at those:

Shark: If you ever encounter a shark that wants to eat you, do not urinate or spill blood on water. Move slowly and if you get caught, aim for their eyes and gills.

Kangaroo: If you are somehow in their territory, start coughing. Also, back away slowly.

Lion: Maintain eye contact and try to look big and tall. Do not make any eye contact! Roar and make loud noises.

Elephant: Find something big to hide yourself, like a big stone or a tree.

Rhinoceroses: The easiest way to dodge them is to hide behind a tree or hide in a bush or tall grass.

Hippopotamus: Do not hide in the bushes in the summer if you encounter a hippo. You must climb a tree or a steep hill and wait patiently, until it gives up and goes away.

Bull: If a bull is chasing you, stand still. Grab your shirt or hat, wave it in front of the bull. Then throw it as far as you can. After the bull takes the bait, you walk away quietly.

Jellyfish: If a jellyfish lashes on to you, it releases a certain type of neurotoxin that can give you serious pain. You have to wash that part with salt water immediately and remove the part of the jellyfish which is latched onto you with the help of a tweezer. After that, apply some antihistamine ointment onto the burnt place.

Crocodile: If you ever get grabbed by a crocodile, try smashing their eyes. If you see it coming at you, make as much noise as possible and run in a zig-zag. If you see it while swimming, do not splash, it will only grab their attention. Try to swim away quietly.

Snakes: If you see a snake following you, stomp the ground. If you get bitten, do not suck out the blood. Wash the wound with running water and apply a tourniquet on the bitten area. Go to the hospital or call for help.

Bear: Don’t run if bears attack you. Fall onto the ground, curl into a ball, cover your neck and act dead. Do not immediately move if the bear leaves you.

Gorilla: If you encounter a gorilla, do not panic. Sit down, be less large than the gorilla. Avoid eye contact. If you are attacked, curl into a ball.
