How to Center Windows 10 Taskbar Icons Like Windows 11

This video will show you how to center the Windows 10 taskbar icons just like Windows 11… Recently Microsoft made it official that Windows 11 will be arriving later this year. Of all the design changes and new features, the centering of the taskbar icons has gotten a lot of attention, often being compared to macOS. In this video, I’ll show you how to get the taskbar icons centered on your Windows 10 computer without the use of any 3rd party software.

Tasks
Go to the taskbar and right click.
Once
Navigate to the “Lock the taskbar” option.
Once
Left click on it to deselect it.
Once
Right click on the taskbar again.
Once
Find the “Toolbars” option and hover your cursor over it.
Once
Enable the “Links” option by clicking on it.
Once
Again go to the taskbar and right click on “Links”.
Once
Find out the “Show text” and “Show title” option from the list and make sure both of them are checked.
Once
Now hover your mouse cursor over the vertical lines divider. Look at the horizontal arrows pointing left and right.
Once
Left click and drag the vertical lines to the left side of your taskbar.
Once
Once again hover your cursor over the other vertical divider just to the left of the taskbar icons.
Once
When you see the horizontal line with double arrows, left click and drag until your icons are in the center.

After centering the icons, go back to the taskbar and right click on the “Links”
Once
Uncheck both the “Show text” and “Show title” option.
Once
Right click the taskbar one last time and left click “Lock the taskbar”. You are now done.
