How to Network

Some people make mistakes while networking. You have to play a long game with a small number of people. Thus, you can find people with similar values and hobbies. Many have connections with the vast majority of some people for years. They are still my friends today. Here, Tim Ferriss has shared some tips on networking in a program. Stay tuned.

Tasks

Don’t just go to an event and collect business cards.

Once

Avoid following up with people with whom you don’t have any common interest.

Once

Look at volunteer events where you can volunteer.

Once

Attend high-end events and don’t go directly to the panelists to talk.

Once

Rather, talk to the moderator and be humble with him/her to the extent you can.

Once

Aver your portion of interest and s/he would show a specific person to interact.

Once

Go and talk to him/her since you have a social stamp of approval from one person.

Once

Be authentic while interacting with that person.

Once

Don’t pretend to know everything.
