1. Rest and give your body time for a few days to heal while you are recovering.

4. Keep up your fluid intake as much as possible while you are infected.

5. Lie on your belly as opposed to your back as much as you can while resting till you get recovered.

6. Increase your vitamin C intake by taking orange juice, other citrus fruits, red and green peppers or vitamin C supplements for some days.

7. Take vitamin D by having supplements or a glass of milk regularly.

8. Boost up your mood in any way possible by doing things like watching your favorite TV show, reading a book, chatting with friends over the phone, etc.
