In this era of social media, it is easier to be inflicted by evil eyes and black magic. We expose more information about ourselves than necessary and the blessings we have may incite jealousy in other peoples’ hearts that can eventually result in evil eyes or ,even worse, black magic. However, we can always seek protection from Allah Ta’la from these calamities. RasulAllah (peace be upon him) has taught us some du’as and adhkaars to recite to shield ourselves from evil eyes, shatateen and djinns. Following are the tips that will help you to safeguard yourself from black magic.
Refrain from sharing information about your life with everyone whether it is online or offline i.e. placing possibly limited particulars about yourself available to anyone.
Recite Ayatul Kursi after Fajr and Maghrib prayer.
Recite the last three Surahs of the Qur’an. (3x each Surah)
Recite “Bismillahi-lathee laa ya dhurru ma’asmihi shay’un fil-‘ardhi wa laa fis-samaa’i wa Huwas-Samee’ul-‘Aleem” 3 times after Fajr and Maghrib prayer to ask Allah Ta’la for protection from any calamity.
Recite “Laa ‘ilaha ‘illallahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa ‘aala kullu shay’in Qadeer” 10/100 times to ask Allah Ta’la for protection from Shayateen.
Recite “A’oothu bikalimaatil-laahit-taammaati min sharru maa khalaqa 3 times to ask Allah Ta’la for protection from all the evils of the creation.
Eat seven of ajwa dates to protect yourself from black magic and poison.
