How to Batch Delete Emails on Gmail

Instead of manually deleting emails to clear out your Gmail account, batch deleting is an easy way to free up space without getting rid of the ones you do need. Here are the tips to do it! Enroll and Practice it to stay more organized and focused.

TasksLog in to your Gmail account.
Once
Type “Label:all mail” in the top search bar and press the Enter key. You’ll be redirected to a new page.
Once
Batch together the type of emails you want to delete like emails from a certain sender, time frame, or if it has an attachment.
Once
Use the “Advanced Search” option for more customization.
Once
Click on the little square icon at the top, once you’ve selected the emails you want to delete.
Once
Click on the “Select all conversations that match this search” option if the batch is more than 50 emails.
Once
Then click on the Delete icon to remove the selected emails from your account. Gmail will automatically preserve the deleted emails in Trash for 30 days.
Once
Go to Trash and select your already deleted emails and hit the Delete button if you want to remove them permanently.
