Maybe you want to Skype, record a vlog, hang out with your friends on Zoom, or meet with your colleagues on Google Meet. Whatever the case is, you’re going to need a webcam. If your PC doesn't have a Webcam built in, or you just want a little more flexibility, here's how you can use the camera(s) in your Android phone or tablet instead. To do so, you just need to download 2 programs. Lets’ begin.

Download and install the IP camera adapter for windows in your computer.

Once

Download and install the IP Webcam app (free version) on your phone or tablet.

Make sure your Android device and the computer are on the same Wi-Fi network.

Now, launch the IP Webcam app on your phone or tablet.

Complete the settings of the app depending on your requirements.

Set a username and password to protect others from accessing your camera.

Then hit the “Start Server” option to open the video stream.

Now, open the IP camera adapter program on your computer.

In the first field, enter the IP address and port number that shows up on the bottom of your android device's screen.

Input your username and password. And hit the “Autodetect” button. You are now ready to use it.

Place your Android device in a convenient location to have a good viewing experience.

Open a communicating app like Skype, Zoom to test it. Go to the Video settings and select mjpec camera as the source.
