It is not a secret that Elon Musk has an insane work schedule which is better than a full-time average worker. We all know he is incredibly demanding but Elon always ensures that everything gets done which is listen in the 5-minute time block schedule. Surprisingly, this technique is called “Time Boxing” or “Time Blocking”. Here are some essential and useful tips on how to manage your time more efficiently by applying the “Time Boxing” Method.

Tasks

1.Take a piece of notebook paper or whiteboard and divide it into two blocks or columns.

2. Write out your daily plan and estimate the amount of time each task is going to take.

3. Properly estimate how long tasks are going to take you to complete.

4. Try to track your time properly by using the app called "Toggle".

5. Split your bigger tasks into smaller sub-tasks.

6. When your plans get interrupted, revise that plan.

7. Don’t be discouraged if you’re unable to follow your plan to the letter.

8. At the end of the day analyze your plan and see what interrupted it.

9. Avoid the temptation to over-schedule your day.

Once

10. Keep a buffer to squeeze -in an unexpected activity and take advantage of the productivity benefits that come from the limitations of time boxing.
